“总集附史”:谭献家集理论的时代典范性

摘　　要：谭献在为家集所作序跋中首次提出“总集附史”的概念。谭献所说的“总集”,既在对象上特指家集,又在内涵上有特定学术指向。他如此关注家集,乃因家集既彰显颂述祖德、表彰忠孝、家风传承的价值观念,又为地方志乘编纂提供充足文献,可以“积家以成国史”“以家祯为国瑞”,具有接续地域文化和传承国家文明的重要史学意义。这种学术指向不仅与他推崇微言大义、《诗》教“有用”和兴观群怨的儒家文学思想相关,还蕴含经历太平天国战乱及学术文化罹难后复兴儒术、重建史学的人文品格和家国情怀。因此,“总集附史”以其深刻的内涵具有理论范畴上的典范意义。Tan Xian first proposed the concept of"literary anthology assist history"in his preface and postscript to family collected works.What Tan Xian referred to the"collection"refers to family collected works,which has a certain academic orientation.He pays great attention to it because family collected works can express values which eulogize the virtues of ancestors,extol loyalty and filial piety,inherit family tradition.It also provides sufficient literature for the compilation of local chronicles,which can"accumulate family history as national history"and"regard auspicious of family as national auspiciousness".It has important historical significance in continuing regional culture and inheriting national civilization.This academic orientation is not only related to Tan Xian's admiration for subtle principles,but also to the usefulness of education in The Book of Songs and the Confucian literary ideas of Xing,Guan,Qun,Yuan.It also embodies the humanistic character and patriotism of reviving Confucianism and reconstructing historiography after experiencing the Taiping Rebellion and the loss of academic culture.Therefore,the"literary anthology assist history"has a theoretical and exemplary significance in its profound connotation.
