Tapinarof inhibits psoriatic inflammation through inducing tolerogenic dendritic cells and Foxp3^(+) Tregs

摘  要:To the Editor:Tapinarof is an aryl hydrocarbon receptor(AhR)ligand derived from metabolites of Photorhabdus luminescens.[1]It has been shown that 1%tapinarof cream had high efficacy on psoriasis,[2]and has been approved for the treatment of psoriasis in China and in the United States.The“interleukin(IL)-23/IL-17-producing T helper(Th17)inflammation axis”plays a predominant role in the pathogenesis of psoriasis.Tapinarof also suppresses the expression of IL-17 and inhibits oxidative stress.[3]Here,we studied the role of tapinarof on dendritic cells(DCs)activation and on differentiation of Th17 and Treg in human and mouse.We also studied the effect of tapinarof in imiquimod(IMQ)-induced mice psoriasis model.
