摘 要:清初关中学者李颙对当时势头正盛的朱子学进行了辩难。首先,他不赞同朱子对“格物”的解释,主张“格物”的首要任务在于“明善”,而“善”是内在于心的价值之源。其次,他认为朱子“全体大用”之学涵括的范围过于宽泛,以致经世事业难以落实。李颙的“明体适用”说包括内圣与外王两个向度。在“内圣”即学术向度上,“明体适用”是指整合会通理学与心学,先立心学之本体,再用理学之工夫。“外王”向度的“明体适用”是指道德与事功交进互动,肯认心体才能经世致用,成就事功才能重返心体而达成境界。李颙的思想不仅具有重要的学术史意义,映射了清初关学与朱子学的交融互动,而且也有一定的现实价值,其思想精华有助于完善道德文化建设和重构社会文化价值系统,“明体适用”说亦与习近平文化思想所强调的“明体达用、体用贯通”有一致之处。Li Yong(1627-1705),a scholar from area Guanzhong(today's middle area of Shaan Xi Province)in the early Qing dynasty(1636-1912),debated the flourishing trend of Zhu Xi's philosophy at that time.First,he disagrees with Zhu Xi's explanation of"investigation of things"and advocates that the primary task of"investigating things"is to"clarify goodness",which is the source of value inherent in the heartmind.Second,he believed that the scope of Zhu Xi's"universal ti(conceptual body)and great function"was too broad,making it difficult to implement the cause of administrating the world.Li Yong's theory of"mingti shiyong"(clearing ti and applying it to actual function properly)includes two dimensions:neisheng and waiwang(cultivating sageliness within and then manifesting it in service to society).In terms of the academic dimension of"neisheng","mingti shiyong"refers to the integration of principle theory and heart-mind theory,first establishing the essence of heartmind theory,and then using the cultivation theory of principle-oriented Neo-Confucianism.""Mingti shiycng"of the"waiwang"dimension refers to the interaction between human morality and external service to society.Only by recognizing the conceptual body of heart-mind can one apply it to the world,and only by making actual achievements can one return to the conceptual body of heart-mind and reach a high realm.Li Yong's ideas not only have important academic historical significance,reflecting the integration and interaction between Guanzhong school and Zhu Xi's scholarship in the early Qing dynasty,but also have certain practical value.The essence of his thoughts helps to improve morality and culture construction and reconstruct the social culture value system.The"mingti shiyong"theory is also consistent with Xi Jinping's culture thought,which emphasizes"mingti shiyong and the integration of ti and yong".
