摘　　要：To the Editor:Carotid artery stenting(CAS)is a key treatment of extracranial internal carotid artery(EICA)stenosis for secondary stroke prevention.Hypotension is a common perioperative event concerning balloon dilation of the carotid sinus and can lead to serious adverse events,such as ischemic stroke,myocardial infarction,and prolonged length of stay(LOS).
