摘　　要：“双一流”建设背景下我国理工科院校英语专业发展机遇和挑战并存。针对当前发展目标模糊、缺乏特色、课程建设落后、实践教学创新不够、国际化视野狭窄及师资力量薄弱等困境,从以培养复合型、应用型、国际化人才为目标,彰显人文特色、加强课程建设、创新实践教学、推动国际化培养和打造一流师资等方面提出了纾困之道。从而提高理工科院校英语专业质量,实现高校“双一流”建设目标,促进我国高校英语学科良性发展。The“double world-class project”construction brings both opportunities and challenges to the development of English majors in universities of science and technology colleges in China.Aiming at the current difficulties such as vague development goals,lack of characteristics,backward curriculum construction,insufficient practical teaching innovation,narrow international vision and poor quality of faculty.This paper puts forward some solutions from the aspects of cultivating compound,applied and international talents,highlighting humanistic characteristics,strengthening curriculum construction,innovating practical teaching,promoting international training and building first-class faculty to improve the quality of English majors in universities of science and technology,achieve the goal of the“double world-class project”construction,and promote the benign development of English subjects in colleges and universities of China.
