摘 要:Dear Editor,The widespread and growing use of anesthesia in children makes its safety a major health issue of interest.Mounting evidence suggests that anesthetic exposure during early development may result in neurological changes in young children and animals.Sevoflurane, the most commonly used inhaled anesthetic in children, leads to visual recognition memory impairment, anxiety behaviors, and myelination deficits in infant rhesus macaques[1-3].
