The Hubao-Eyu urban agglomeration is an important urban agglomeration center in the northwest region of China. This study is collecting, organizing, and calculating various data of the development of the Hubao-Eyu urban agglomeration in 2020 for comprehensive analysis based on the analysis method of emergy theory. The results show that in 2020,the proportion of renewable resource emergy in the total emergy of the Hubao-Eyu urban agglomeration was 0.24%,while the proportion of non renewable resource emergy was relatively high, reaching 95.67%;The emergy self-sufficiency rate is 96%;The regional environmental load rate is relatively high; The emergy output rate is 24.46%;The emergy density and per capita emergy of urban agglomerations exceed the national average level.Sustainable indicators show that the urban agglomerations are highly developed consumer oriented economies; The health emergy index indicates that the Hubao-Eyu urban agglomeration is classified as"very healthy"in the urban health rating standards. Finally, based on the data conclusions, targeted strategies and suggestions are proposed for the healthy development of the Hubao-Eyu urban agglomeration.
