摘  要:介绍了一种新型E波段倍频器模块的设计和制作方法。该模块使用一种准八木天线形式的石英探针,实现芯片至矩形波导的高效信号过渡。为抑制封装芯片腔体中产生的高次模谐振,引入销钉形式的电磁带隙结构,拓展了工作带宽。为验证该方法,对模块进行了仿真优化、加工和测试。测试结果表明,在13 dBm的输入功率下,能够输出频率在60~80 GHz范围内,功率大于0 dBm的射频信号。测试结果与芯片的在片测试结果吻合良好,证明了该方法的可行性。A new design and fabrication method for an E-band frequency doubler module is introduced.The module utilizes a quartz probe in the form of a quasi-Yagi antenna to achieve efficient signal transition from the chip to the rectangular waveguide.To suppress the higher-order mode resonance generated in the packaged chip cavity,a pin-shaped electromagnetic bandgap structure is introduced to expand the operating bandwidth.To verify this method,the module is optimized through simulation,processed,and tested.The test results show that with an input power of 13 dBm,it is capable of outputting radio frequency signals with frequencies in the range of 60~80 GHz and power greater than 0 dBm.The test results match well with the on-chip test results of the chip,proving the feasibility of this method.
