纽马克翻译理论在机械工程专业英语翻译教学中的应用研究

摘　　要：本文介绍了纽马克翻译理论的形成背景、语义翻译策略、交际翻译策略,分析了机械工程专业英语的词汇特点、句法特点、修辞特点,总结了学生翻译实操中常见的语言表达问题和技术标准差异问题,提出了纽马克翻译理论在机械工程专业英语翻译教学中的具体应用方法,为相关教学提供有益参考。This paper presents the contextual background,semantic translation strategies,and communicative translation strategies inherent in Newmark’s Translation Theory.It analyzes the lexical,syntactic,and rhetorical characteristics of Mechanical Engineering English while summarizing prevalent language expression issues and discrepancies in technical standards observed during students’translation practices.Furthermore,this paper proposes a detailed methodology for implementing Newmark’s Translation Theory within the framework of Mechanical Engineering English translation instruction,thereby offering valuable insights for related pedagogical endeavors.
