儒家政教观念与刘勰文体论  

The Confucian View of Political Indoctrination and Liu Xie's Theory of Literary Style

摘　　要：在儒家政教观念中,天道、圣人、经三者一贯,具有内在一致性。经作为人文之大成,以文字形式承载天道与圣人法天以立政教的实绩,具有典范性、权威性和超越时空的特性。刘勰依循儒家政教观念,充分注意包括文章在内的人文的政教功能和意义,确立原道、征圣、宗经的原则,以正纬、辨骚,将文的政教功能与意义贯穿于整个文论体系。其二十篇文体论,在征圣、宗经、“文源五经”观念下,充分注意文体的政教功能和意义,将文体诞生之初被赋予的政教功能与意义作为文体的当然属性,贯穿于对文体的正名、文体发展源流的评判及文体体制规格和创作要求等整个文体论中。In the Confucian view of political indoctrination,the Heavenly Way(天道),the Confucian sages,and the Confucian Classics were intrinsically consistent with one another.The Confucian Classics,as the great achievements of humanities,carried the Heavenly Way and the achievements of the Confucian sages in establishing political indoctrination in written language,which were characteristic of exemplariness,authoritativeness,and spatial-temporal transcendence.In accordance with the Confucian view of political indoctrination,Liu Xie(刘勰)paid full attention to the function and significance of humanity's political indoctrination including his essay The Literary Mind and the Carving of Dragons(《文心雕龙》,and established the principles of original way(原道),verification by the Confucian sages'teachings(征圣),and emphasis upon the importance of the Confucian Classics(宗经).He also incorporated the function and significance of his essay's political indoctrination into the entire system of literary theory by rectifying The Divination combined with mystical Confucian beliefs(正纬)and distinguishing Elegies of the Chu State(《楚辞》)from The Book of Songs(《诗经》).In view of the verification by the Confucian sages'teachings,the emphasis upon the importance of the Confucian Classics,and the“origin of essay writing from the Five Confucian Classics”(文源五经),his twenty essays on literary styles emphasized the function and significance of political indoctrination,and took the function and significance of political indoctrination given to literary styles at the beginning of their births as the natural attributes of literary styles,which went through the entire theory of literary style,including the rectification of the literary styles,the evaluation of their developmental origins,the specifications of the literary genres,and the requirements for their creations.
