摘 要:美国少数族裔诗人的成长历程有颇多相似之处,大致经历了三个阶段:从初期的极力融入,到中期的反省抗争,再到最后回归民族文化自觉,并积极投身于世界多元文化构建。其写作经历的每一次转向无不体现少数族裔诗人对母国文化的一种沧桑记忆,以及对本民族文化身份认识的提高。研究发现,以多元文化并存著称的美国文化并非体现各种文化的兼收并蓄,主流文化统治下的少数族裔群体很难获得真正的话语权,族裔文化植入主流文化更是极其艰难,历代少数族裔诗人的不懈探索过程其实就是美国少数族裔群体在身份、地位、权利等诸多因素上获得认同并最终被主流文化所接纳,以及参与世界多元文化的构建过程。There are a lot of similarities in the growth process of American minority poets,which roughly undergoes three stages:from trying to blend in at the beginning to reflecting and fighting in the middle,and finally returning to a national culture consciousness to actively participate in the world multicultural construction.Every change of their writing experience embodies the ethnic minority poets'vicissitude memories to their mother cultures and the improvement of their identities.Studies show that American culture,which is famous for its multicultural coexistence,does not represent an eclectic mix of cultures.Minority groups under the dominance of the mainstream culture find it difficult for them to get a real right of speech,and even harder to integrate into the mainstream culture.In fact,the unremitting exploration process of the ethnic minority poets from generations to generations is the process in which the ethnic minority groups in the United States have been recognized in identity,status,rights and many other aspects and finally accepted by the mainstream culture and they participate in the building of a multicultural world.
