摘　　要：全球数字化转型与新冠疫情对档案职业产生了重要影响,了解新形势下档案职业的状况、特征与趋势是档案学研究的重要内容。通过对2021—2022年美国实施的第二次全美档案普查与教育需求调查报告内容的解读,呈现当前美国档案职业的全貌与档案工作的变化;从档案人员、档案机构、档案实践、档案教育四个方面分析总结美国档案职业的基本特征和发展趋势。期望研究有助于读者更全面了解美国档案行业和档案职业的发展状况,并对思考新形势下我国如何更好应对档案工作挑战和促进档案职业发展有所启发。The global digital transformation and the the COVID-19 pandemic have had an important impact on the archival profession,thus it is important to understand the status,characteristics and trends of the archival profession under the new situation.Through the excerpt of the two reports of A*CENSUSⅡ conducted in the US in 2021 and 2022,the overall picture of the US archival profession and the changes are briefly presented.This paper analyzed and summarized the basic characteristics and development trends of the archival profession in the US from four aspects,including archivists,archival sectors,archival practices,and archival education.The paper will help Chinese readers have a more comprehensive understanding of the development of the archival profession and practice of the US,and provide enlightenment to how China should respond to the challenges of the profession and promote high quality development under the new situation.
