当亲缘被祛魅:“断亲”背后的个体选择与家之存在意义的变迁  

When Kinship is Disenchanted:Individual Choice and the Changing Existential Meaning of the Family Behind the Duanqin Phenomenon

摘　　要：文章以中国社会的个体化转型为背景,通过新家庭主义和个体主体性觉醒的双重视角对当代青年的“断亲”现象展开讨论。阎云翔认为,断亲不是新现象,但今天的新特征是青年个体带着父母一起断亲,背后的原因是新家庭主义下的亲子一体。断亲的本质是选亲,包括断掉“坏亲戚”、保留“好亲戚”及加强亲子关系。断亲是传统亲缘的祛魅化,个体依照自己的意愿来建构属于自己的亲属关系网络,这背后是个体主体性的增长,涉及个体自由、个体本真性及家之存在意义。由于亲子两代人所追求的存在意义不同,且亲代有资源托底的能力和意愿,新家庭主义下的断亲成为满足自由与安全双重目标的临时解决方案。但其深远的影响是亲属关系组织的萎缩和社会性的消失,家庭出现原子化倾向,其社会意义非常深刻。This article examines the phenomenon of duanqin(cutting off kinship ties)among contemporary Chinese youth in the context of the individualization of Chinese society.It engages in a dialogue on this emerging trend from the dual perspectives of neo-familism and the awakening of individual subjectivity.Yan Yunxiang argues that while duanqin is not a new phenomenon,its contemporary manifestation is characterized by youth leading their parents in this process,driven by the value of parent-child oneness under neo-familism.The essence of duanqin is to create a kinship of one’s own,which involves cutting off the“bad relatives”,keeping the“good relatives”and reinforcing the parent-child oneness.It results in the disenchantment of kinship,where individuals create their own kinship based on their will and choice.This shift reflects the growing importance of individual subjectivity including individual freedom and authenticity,and the new existential meaning of the family.Due to generational differences in the pursuit of the existential meaning,and the willingness and power of parents to provide resources,duanqin under neo-familism emerges as a temporary solution to balancing freedom and security.However,its profound impact is the shrinking of kinship organization and the erosion of sociality,leading to a tendency towards atomization of the family,which may have profound social impacts in the long run.
