摘　　要：全过程人民民主的“全”是基本精神,“过程”是内在要求,“人民”是价值属性。它总结了新中国成立以来民主建设的宝贵经验,批判汲取了中西方优秀民主思想,体现了人民对民主的不懈追求,是中国特色社会主义民主政治的最新发展成果。全过程人民民主不是对西式民主的照搬照抄,而是具有显著制度优势和治理优势的、符合国情的中国式民主,它既是中国民主政治建设的杰出成就,也对世界民主的发展具有重要意义。The“wholeness”in whole process people’s democracy signifies its fundamental spirit,the“process”denotes its inherent requirement,and the“people”embodies its value attribute.It summarizes the valuable experience of democratic construction since the founding of the People’s Republic of China,critically adopts excellent democratic ideas from both China and the West,reflects the people’s relentless pursuit of democracy,and represents the latest development achievement of socialist democratic politics with Chinese characteristics.Whole process people’s democracy is not a mere imitation of Western style democracy;rather,it is a Chinese style democracy that possesses prominent institutional and governance advantages tailored to national conditions.It stands as a notable achievement in China’s democratic political construction and holds great significance for the development of world democracy.
