摘　　要：西奥·赫曼斯的《翻译与历史:一部教科书》以翻译与历史的关系为论述对象,探讨了翻译史研究的基本概念和方法,较为全面地梳理了史学研究的新进展及其对翻译史研究的借鉴意义。该书极其重视史学领域的研究成果,不仅对史学理论与研究方法进行了详细的介绍,还借助具体案例,为读者呈现了多种翻译史研究的新方法和新路径。另外,赫曼斯在书中提出了“作为历史的翻译”这一概念,丰富了人们对翻译史研究的认识。Translation and History:A Teatbook by Theo Hermans focuses the relationship between translation and history,it explores the basic concepts and methods of the research of translation history,and introduces the new developments in historical research and their application in the study of translation history.The book attaches great importance to the research results in the field of historiography,and not only provides a detailed introduction to theories and research methods of historiography,but also presents readers with a variety of new methods and paths for the research of translation history with the help of specific cases.In addition,Hermanns puts forward in the book the concept of"translation as history",which enriches the understanding of the research of translation history.
