数字化转型同群效应与企业突破式创新——基于连锁董事网络视角

摘　　要：数字时代的到来在加速企业生产经营模式重大革新的同时,也为以技术突破和颠覆变革为目的的突破式创新提供了新的机遇。同时伴随数字技术的发展,企业间的微观网络联结关系不断扩大,企业的战略决策行为受到外部网络关系的影响愈加强烈并呈现出日益趋同的现象。因此,在探讨数字化转型战略时,企业微观网络关系的嵌入成为必要。以对企业战略决策具有重要作用的连锁董事为切入点,在连锁董事网络视角下,采用2011—2021年中国A股上市制造业企业为研究样本,实证探究数字化转型同群效应的存在性及其对企业突破式创新的影响,并明确其影响机制。研究发现:(1)同一连锁董事网络中的企业数字化转型存在显著的同群效应;(2)数字化转型同群效应能够显著促进企业突破式创新,在经过一系列稳健性检验和内生性测试后,该结果依旧可靠;(3)数字化转型同群效应可以通过缓解企业融资约束和提高企业创新吸收能力的方式进而促进企业突破式创新;(4)当企业位于连锁董事网络中心位置或结构洞位置时,数字化转型同群效应对企业突破式创新的促进作用得到加强。The advent of the digital age not only accelerates the significant innovation in enterprise production and business models,but also provides new opportunities for breakthrough innovation aimed at technological breakthroughs and disruptive changes.Existing studies have explored the impact and mechanism analysis of enterprises digital transformation relying on their own resources and experiences on breakthrough innovation.However,with the development of digital technology,the micro-network connection relationship between enterprises is constantly expanding,and the strategic deci-sion-making behavior of enterprises is increasingly influenced by external network relations,showing an increasing conver-gence phenomenon.Therefore,it is necessary to embed the micro-network relationship of enterprises when discussing the digital transformation strategy.Specifically,does the digital transformation of enterprises show a peer effect in the same network?Furthermore,if there is the peer effect of digital transformation,does it provide new technological opportunities and innovation resources for enterprises to promote their breakthrough innovation?The answers to these questions are crucial for exploring the impact mechanism of digital transformation on enterprise breakthrough innovation.Based on upper echelons theory,taking interlocking directors,who play an important role in corporate strategic decision-making,as the entry point,and from the perspective of the interlocking directorate network,choosing China's A-share listed manufacturing enterprises from 2011 to 2021 as the research sample,this paper empirically explores the existence of the peer effect of digi-tal transformation and its impact on enterprise breakthrough innovation,then clarifies its impact mechanism.The results show that:(1)The digital transformation of enterprises in the same interlocking directorate network has the significant peer effect,that is,the digital transformation strategy of enterprises in the same interlocking directorate network tends to converg
