摘　　要：考入精英大学却自认“five”(废物),这种蕴含内在矛盾的自我评价在高校学生中的流行,揭示了一个以“985five”为标签的精英大学学子群体及其自我迷失困境的客观存在。对该群体的考察有必要突破常用的阶层视角,将其置于现代性背景下予以更具普遍意义的反思。社会加速批判理论适用于探讨“985five”群体自我迷失表征、原因及自我重建策略。以此理论为视角的网络民族志研究发现,“985five”群体自我迷失体现为自我认知、自我选择以及自我设定的忙碌、盲目和茫然;加速逻辑主导下所产生的绩效崇拜、量化至上以及时间匮乏,是致使其陷入自我迷失的原因。该群体的自我重建需要超越“唾弃浪费时间”的文化规制、实现包容休闲文化的再塑,更有赖于共鸣关系的建立以及对大学人文教育价值的重申。So-called“985 five”refers to those students from Project 985 universities(or,elite universities)in China who label themselves as exam winners,but losers in virtually all the other aspects.This self-loathing indicates their lack of self-identity,which is a rather common phenomenon in the accelerated modern society.Based on Hartmut Rosa’s“social acceleration”theory,this cyber-ethnographic study is to identify common symptoms of self-loss among those“985 five”,analyze possible causes and proposes strategies for their self-identity reconstruction.It has been found that symptoms of self-loss among those“985 five”include their empty selfhood,busy blindness and thoughtless diligence.And those“985 five”are losing themselves because of their perceived time shortage in the accelerated society and morbid obsessions with performance or metrics.To help people like those“985 five”reconstruct self-identity,it is necessary for us to build a society valuing leisure or a healthy work-life balance,cultivate empathy in relationships,and reemphasize the importance of humanistic education.
