摘　　要：促进农村老年家庭消费,对于协同应对人口老龄化问题以及释放银发经济潜力具有重要意义。本文利用2018年与2020年中国家庭追踪调查(CFPS)两期数据,实证探讨隔代照料、数字技术与农村老年家庭消费的内在逻辑。研究发现,隔代照料显著提升农村老年家庭总体消费水平。从消费结构来看,隔代照料对生存型消费和享用型消费都具有显著的正向影响,且对后者的促进作用更大,表明隔代照料有利于家庭消费规模扩大,同时促进家庭消费结构升级。在经过系列稳健性检验后,结论依然成立。异质性分析表明,在低收入水平和低消费能力的家庭中,隔代照料对消费支出的促进作用更大。机制分析发现,隔代照料行为会提高老年人使用数字技术的概率,进而促进家庭消费规模扩大和消费结构升级。基于相关研究结论,提出引导家庭成员正确对待隔代照料行为,提升老年人数字素养与技能,增强银发市场产品供给能力等对策建议。Promoting consumption in rural elderly households is vital for addressing population aging and unlocking the potential of the silver economy.Using data from the 2018 and 2020 waves of the China Family Panel Studies(CFPS),this paper empirically explores the internal logic among intergenerational care,digital technology,and rural elderly household consumption.The findings indicate that intergenerational care significantly increases the overall consumption level of rural elderly households.In terms of consumption structure,intergenerational care has a significant positive impact on both survival-oriented and enjoyment-oriented consumption,with a stronger effect on the latter.This suggests that intergenerational care not only expands household consumption scale but also upgrades consumption structure.The conclusions remain robust after a series of robustness checks.Heterogeneity analysis reveals that the positive effect of intergenerational care on consumption expenditure is more pronounced in households with low income and low consumption capacity.Mechanism analysis shows that intergenerational care increases the likelihood of elderly individuals using digital technology,which in turn promotes household consumption scale and structural upgrades.Based on these findings,the paper proposes policy recommendations,including guiding family members to positively view intergenerational care,improving digital literacy and skills among the elderly,and enhancing the supplyofsilver-market products.
