摘　　要：文章介绍了美国口腔卫生士和牙科助理的发展现状,重点阐述了其学制与课程设置、培训内容、资格考试与认证以及工作范围等方面。通过比较美国口腔卫生士与牙科助理培训体系与我国口腔专科护士培训体系的异同,旨在探索适合我国国情的口腔专科护士教育培训新模式。This paper presents an overview of the development and current status of dental hygienists and dental assistants in the United States,with a focus on their educational system,curriculum design,training content,qualification examinations and certification,as well as their scope of practice.By comparing the similarities and differences between the education and training systems for dental hygienists and dental assistants in the U.S.and the training system for oral specialist nurses in China,this paper aims to explore a new model of education and training for oral specialist nurses that is tailored to China's specific needs and conditions.
