摘 要:面对可持续发展思潮,我们很自然地回首仰望先哲荀子,他以天人相分、制用天命等观念指引着天人协调发展方向,而荀子就天人关系的独到看法与孔门弟子曾参有着紧密联系。可以说,正是曾子的孝道观将人之地位提升到前所未有的高度,才有荀子对天、地与人关系的重新思考,进而提出了“制天命而用之”等新观念。当然,这也让很多人不得不怀疑荀子是否还属于儒家;确实,他与过去的儒家不同,他第一次颠覆了“传统”的天人关系,并充分肯定了人的主观能动性在改造现实世界中的作用。荀子的天人关系革命尽管遇有种种不同的声音,但是,中华民族不间断的文明存在本身,证实它是有助于可持续发展的。Faced with the trend of sustainable development,it is natural for us to look back at the ancient philosopher Xunzi.He guided the direction of coordinated development between heaven and man with concepts such as the separation of heaven and man and the use of heavenly mandate.Xunzi's unique views on the relationship between heaven and man are closely related to the disciple of Confucius,Zeng Shen.It can be said that it was Zengzi's filial piety philosophy that elevated the status of human beings to an unprecedented height,which led to Xunzi's rethinking of the relationship between heaven,earth,and human beings,and thus proposed the new concept of"using the mandate of heaven".Of course,this also makes many people doubt whether Xunzi still belongs to Confucianism;Indeed,he is different from the past Confucians in that he subverted the"traditional"relationship between heaven and man for the first time and fully affirmed the role of human subjectivity in transforming the real world.Although Xunzi's revolution on the relationship between heaven and man encountered various voices,the uninterrupted existence of Chinese civilization itself proves that it is conducive to sustainable development.
