Membranous and prostatic urethra calcification due to Corynebacterium urealyticum infection

摘　　要：This video shows an 85-year-old patient with a history of radiotherapy for prostate cancer who developed a bladder cancer with several surgical manipulations and intravesical bacille Calmette-Guérin(BCG)and chemotherapy,as well as urinary tract infections(UTIs)and subsequent antibiotic use.This patient developed a Corynebacterium urealyticum infection with calcification of the membranous and prostatic urethra,clearly seen in a tomography(Figure 1),that led to dysuria and worsening of the voiding pattern,treated with resection of the calcified tissue and vancomycin for 6 weeks followed by control trans-urethral resection,that led to significant improvement of the local aspect and urinary symptoms(Supporting Information:Video 1).
