摘　　要：拟声词是世界上所有语言都具备的模拟自然界声响而造的一种特殊词汇。英语和汉语分属印欧语系和汉藏语系,英汉拟声词各具特色。从语音形式、词形结构、语义特征、句法功能以及修辞功能等方面探讨英汉拟声词的类型学差异,有助于进一步了解英汉两种语言系统,感受英汉两种语言背后不同的民族文化,提高使用英汉两种语言的能力。Onomatopoeia is a kind of special words created by simulating natural and man-made sounds,existed in all languages in the world.English and Chinese belong to the Indo European language family and the Sino Tibetan language family respectively,and English and Chinese onomatopoeic words have their own characteristics.Exploring the typological differences between English and Chinese onomatopoeic words from the perspectives of phonetic form,word structure,semantic features,syntactic functions,and rhetorical functions may help to further understand the two language systems,experience the different ethnic cultures behind the two languages,and improve the ability to use these two languages.
