文化结构视角下教育的“平庸之恶”困境

摘  要:汉娜·阿伦特的“平庸之恶”概念呈现了人类无思考、无判断力的行为,而这种行为正蔓延在教育场域中,成为教育的困境。从文化的角度来看,行为是文化结构中的表层体现,对行为的深层理解还应走向文化结构的核心层,即关于生命的答案。从文化结构的视角建构对“平庸之恶”的认识,其表层、中间层与核心层分别指向“无思”的行为实践、“利己”的价值判断与“无人”的生命回应。教育“平庸之恶”的困境为:“螺丝钉”式的“无思”行为、被压迫的“服从”倾向和“无人”以致生命意义的迷失。破解教育“平庸之恶”困境的文化方案为:通过唤醒多元意识、培养平等思想、激活人性灵魂,来建构成己成人的教育、追寻人之为人的教育、回归心中有人的教育。The concept of banality of evil presented by Hannah Arendt reveals human behavior without thinking or judgment,which is spreading in the educational field and becoming a dilemma in education.From the perspective of culture,behavior is the surface manifestation of the cultural structure,and a deeper understanding of behavior should go towards the core layer,which is the answer to life.Consequently,this study constructs an understanding of the banality of evil from the perspective of cultural structure,with its surface,middle,and core layers pointing to the behavior of thoughtlessness,the value judgment of self-interest,and the life response of the absence of person.And the dilemma of educational banality of evil is manifested in the screw pattern of thoughtlessness,the oppressed obedience tendency,and the absent of person leading to the loss of the meaning of life.The cultural solution to solving the dilemma of banality of evil in education is to awaken the multiple consciousness,cultivate equal thinking,and activate the soul of humanity,to pursue the education of thinking about oneself and others,realize the education of being human,and return to the human-focused education.
