摘 要:近年来,随着中国文学“走出去”推广力度的加大,越来越多的中国原创儿童绘本走出国门。尽管部分优秀作品赢得了赞誉,但我国原创绘本在英语世界的传播效果仍总体欠佳,受众接受度尚未得到充分探索。基于Goodreads等网站的评分、WorldCat馆藏量、亚马逊网站销量排行等数据,可确定目前在英语世界关注度较高的五本绘本。通过对其大众评论的剖析发现,效果欠佳的主要原因在于中西方创作传统和思维习惯差异,同时也与译介、出版和传播运作方式有关。相应对策包括:创作更多符合西方儿童审美取向的作品、精选有趣并适合海外市场的作家作品、选择与知名译者和国外专业出版社合作进行译介和出版。In the burgeoning era of China's"going global"literary movement,a surge in translated Chinese picturebooks has graced international shelves.However,despite critical acclaim for a select few excellent books,the overall dissemination is ineffective,and the overall reception by an international au⁃dience remains largely underexplored.By leveraging data from established online platforms like Goodreads,WorldCat library collections,and Amazon sales rankings,five translated Chinese picture books have been identified as enjoying relative popularity in the English-speaking world.A subsequent analysis of general readers'reviews posted on Amazon and Goodreads delves into the reception of these works.The findings reveal a less than stellar picture.The incongruity between writing traditions and modes of thinking between different cultures appears to be a significant barrier to English readers'appreciation,coupled with potential shortcomings in translation,publishing,and distribution strategies further hinders the reception effect.To improve the current state,a multi-pronged approach is pro⁃posed.Firstly,it is crucial to create picturebooks that cater to the preference of Western child readers.Secondly,a more discerning selection process is recommended,prioritizing works with inherent appeal for the target market.Finally,it is well suggested to commission internationally renowned translators and forge strategic partnerships with established foreign children's book publishers.
