摘  要:英语隐含了过程,重结果,名词抽象程度高,重虚词,且界限性、层次性强,体现了英语的精确和立体审美。相比之下,汉语重过程,重具象,重实词,少用虚词,扩展程度高,连续性强、界限性弱,体现了汉语的平面审美。在英汉审美观差异观视角下,本文以著名心理学著作《现实世界的启蒙》中的无灵主语句作为研究对象,分析了抽象名词作无灵主语的翻译策略,验证了英汉审美观差异视角在心理学翻译中的有效性,期望所提出的解决方案能够为心理学翻译提供有益的参考和帮助。English implies processes,emphasizes results,has a high degree of noun abstraction,emphasizes function words,and has strong boundaries and levels,reflecting the precision and three-dimensional aesthetics of English.In contrast,Chinese emphasizes process,con⁃creteness,and concrete words,uses fewer function words,has a high degree of expansion,strong continuity,and weak boundaries,reflecting the flat aesthetic of Chinese.From the perspective of aesthetic differences between English and Chinese,this article takes the inanimate sub⁃ject sentence in the famous psychological work"Enlightenment in the Real World"as the research object,analyzes the translation strategy of abstract nouns as inanimate subjects,verifies the effectiveness of the aesthetic differences between English and Chinese in psychological translation,and hopes that the proposed solutions can provide useful reference and assistance for psychological translation.
