The high salt content of the soil in Shandong is affected by water and agricultural activities, which has an adverse impact on road construction. With the development of road engineering, the amount of engineering spoil has increased, and the problem of environmental pollution has become prominent,so it is urgent to realize resource utilization through soil improvement. The physical properties of recycled aggregate and the cohesiveness of cement were used to improve the saline soil, and its compaction characteristics, unconfined compressive strength and failure mode were experimentally explored. The test results show that with the increase of the substitution rate of recycled aggregate, the maximum dry density of soil increases first and then decreases. With the increase of recycled aggregate content, the plasticity of soil gradually increases. The unconfined compressive strength of solidified saline soil increases first and then decreases with the increase of recycled aggregate content, and the strength and economic benefits of solidified soil are optimal when the 8%cement content and 40%recycled aggregate content work synergistically.
