隋炀帝重用南人与南北朝臣之倾轧

摘　　要：隋炀帝着力调整朝廷中枢执政群体之地域结构,谋求统一王朝的适度开放。具体表现在用人方面,拔擢南来文武人士,以之执掌中枢,主导军政,形成了中国古代统一王朝第一个规模甚大、影响显著的南人军政群体。炀帝如此,与其个人经历及社会文化观念的变化相关,体现出中古南方地域社会的长足发展,预示着中国历史的变动趋势。南人“参掌朝政”,普遍“巧于附会”,揣摩炀帝旨意以投机,表现出佞幸化特征;其武将则积极支持炀帝征战,竞相效命立功。作为新兴地域军政群体,南人沦为炀帝专断之附庸,对当时局势颇多危害。南人势力崛起过程中,凭借炀帝之恩幸,开拓仕途,竞逐利益,对以关陇勋贵为代表的旧统治群体造成冲击,引发了激烈的冲突与对抗,最终导致“江都之难”过程中南北势力相残的悲剧。Emperor Yang of Sui vigorously adjusted the regional structure of the court’s ruling personnel and sought moderate government openness.In terms of personnel,Emperor Yang of Sui appointed literary and military figures from the south to take charge of the central government,forming the first influential group of southern military and political figures in ancient Chinese unified dynasties.This measure was related to the changes in personal experiences and social and cultural concepts,reflecting the significant development of the southern regional society in the medieval period and predicting the changing trend of Chinese history.Southern people participated in court politics,were adept at speculation,and exhibited characteristics of flattery;Emperor Yang’s military generals actively supported him in his battles and made meritorious contributions.As an emerging regional military and political group,the Southern people became vassals of Emperor Yang,causing significant harm to the situation at that time.The Southern power took advantage of Emperor Yang’s beneficial deeds,pursued officialdom and benefits,having an impact on the old ruling group represented by honors of Guanzhong and Longyou,triggering fierce conflicts and confrontations,ultimately leading to the tragedy of the Northern and Southern forces fighting each other during the“Jiangdu Crisis”.
