摘  要:“以美育代宗教说”是近代教育家蔡元培有关教育救国论的重要主张,也是中国近代以来最重要的美育理论之一。一方面,蔡元培将“以美育代宗教说”放置于美学的哲学认知高度,并尝试对美育问题进行哲学层面的思考,这对于我们当下认识和理解舞蹈美育问题仍然具有非常重要的启示意义。另一方面,近代舞蹈美育实践与蔡元培美育理论构想的“落差”说明,近代中国半殖民地半封建社会的性质决定了“自上而下”的舞蹈美育建设无法实现教育救国的理想,近代中国更需要的是“自下而上”的美育启蒙。“The Substitution of Aesthetic Education for Religion”is a significant proposition by modern educator Cai Yuanpei regarding educational salvation,and it is also one of the most important aesthetic education theories in modern China.Cai Yuanpei placed“The Substitution of Aesthetic Education for Religion”at the philosophical level of aesthetics and attempted to think about aesthetic education issues at the philosophical level.This continues to offer important insights for our current understanding and recognition of dance aesthetic education.On the other hand,the“gap”between the practice of modern dance aesthetic education and Cai Yuanpei's theoretical conception of aesthetic education reveals that,due to the semi-colonial and semi-feudal nature of modern China,the top-down construction of dance aesthetic education could not achieve the ideal of nation salvation through education.Modern China requires more of a bottom-up aesthetic enlightenment.
