摘　　要：The entry of Indonesia,the largest economy in Southeast Asia,into the BRICS as the 10th full member has captured much attention from the global media.The expansion of BRICS–an intergovernmental organization of emerging economies originally comprising Brazil,Russia,India,China,and South Africa–has opened a new chapter for multilateral cooperation,bringing greater opportunities for regional and international collaboration at a time when the world faces extraordinary political and economic challenges.The growth of BRICS offers an expanding platform for dialogue,collective action,and regional development that aims to address the issues faced by the Global South,reinforcing their voices on the global stage.
