摘 要:探讨间歇性河流对生物多样性和生态系统的多方面影响。概述了间歇性河流的动态水文特征及其在河网中扮演的角色,讨论了间歇性河流的流动、非流动和干旱阶段的交替对不同空间尺度(从单个河段到整个河网)水生态系统动态的影响。论述了间歇性河流干湿交替导致的独特水文和生物地球化学变化,揭示了不同生物群落(如无脊椎动物、微生物和藻类)在干湿交替过程中的动态响应机制及其对生态恢复的关键作用。间歇性河流的生态系统多功能性表现在营养物质循环、有机物分解和初级生产力等方面具有独特的功能,迫切需要对其进行合理的管理与保护。管理和保护的策略包括生物多样性保护、水质管理、水文监测和生态系统服务供给等。最后指出未来研究的方向,包括间歇性河流的功能联系、物质通量、温室气体排放及其在全球碳循环中的作用。Intermittent rivers are a vital component of aquatic systems,characterized by fluctuating moisture states,dynamic biogeochemical processes and diverse microbial communities,all of which hold significant ecological importance.However,intermittent rivers have received little attention at present,and data resources related to ecology are quite scarce.With g lobal climate change and land use shifts,the alternation between dry and wet phases in intermittent rivers has become more frequent and prolonged.Nearly all rivers in arid and semi-arid regions are intermittent,which greatly influences community biodiversity and biogeochemical processes within river network ecosystems.These rivers can serve as refuge for biodiversity during droughts,effectively absorb flash flood waters and sediments,and transport water,nutrients,organisms,energy and other substances during the flow phase.This review provides an overview of the dynamic hydrology of intermittent rivers and their roles in river networks,and discusses the effects of alternating flowing,non-flowing,and drought phases of intermittent rivers on the dynamics of water ecosystems at different spatial scales(from individual segements to river networks).It also explores the unique hydrological and biogeochemical changes induced by the dry-wet cycles in intermittent rivers,highlighting dynamic response mechanism of different biological communities(such as invertebrates,microorganisms and algae)in the process of dry and wet alternations and its key role in ecological restoration.The multifunctionality of intermittent river ecosystems is reflected in their distinctive roles in nutrient cycling,organic matter decomposit ion,and primary productivity,making their effective management and protection an urgent priority.To effectively manage,protect and restore water and quality in river networks,it is important to recognize the multisectoral linkages between permanent a nd intermittent rivers,which mediate processes that have a significant impact on biodiversity conservation,water
