摘　　要：从乡土中国、城乡中国到城市中国,不仅是中国正在发生着巨大变化的经济社会现实,更意味着人文城市的新生与城市文明的新变。我们越来越意识到,在中国式现代化、城市化进程中,来自人文领域的声音不可或缺甚至理应发挥举足轻重的作用。基于相同的信念和志趣,《探索与争鸣》联合全国18家学术期刊和研究机构,共同发起并成立人文城市研究跨学科学术共同体,共同策划并推出人文城市研究相关议题。From rural China,urban-rural China to urban China,this transformation not only reflects the tremendous economic and social changes taking place in China but also signifies the renaissance of humanities-oriented cities and the evolution of urban civilization.We are increasingly aware that in the process of Chinese path to modernization and urbanization,the voices from the humanities field are indispensable and should play a decisive role.From November 7th to 9th,2024,the“Civilization Exchanges and Urban China:Interdisciplinary Academic Community Symposium on Humanistic City Research”was held in Shanghai,inviting experts from multiple fields of humanities and social sciences to discuss the construction of humanistic cities from multiple dimensions such as global perspective,historical context,theoretical bottlenecks,and practical problems.Researcher Wang Zhan,starting from the three major discussions that Shanghai experienced during the reform and opening up process,pointed out the necessity and importance of the current discussion on humanistic cities,and proposed three meanings that urban renewal should encompass to make life more“beautiful”and“better”.Professor Chen Pingyuan,drawing from his practical experience in participating in urban construction and his academic experience in urban studies over the past three decades,pointed out the unique path for humanities scholars to discuss cities.Professor Chen Sihe drew from the dialogue between Liu Shaoqi and Shi Chuanxiang to introduce the concept of“position”in the urban cultural structure,discussing urban job equality at the realistic level,the connotation of modern urban civilization at the civilizational level,and the self-recycling and regeneration of urban cultural structures at the symbolic level.Professor Liu Yong took the comparison between Beijing and Shanghai as an example to reveal the significance of unique historical backgrounds and civic spirits to unique urban cultures,pointing out that tradition and modernity intermingle in a city,n
