摘 要:多数关于日本人自我意识的研究认为日本人自我意识较弱,甚至认为日本人缺少自我意识。对此,笔者通过对日文自动词表达的分析揭示了日本人具有“隐性自我”和“被动自我”的特征,明示了“隐性自我”和“被动自我”已然是日本人交际的惯常表达方式。在交际中刻意以“隐性自我”和“被动自我”的形式表现自我,恰恰反映了日本人对自我的积极认知,是日本人具有强烈自我意识的表现。Most studies on Japanese self-awareness suggest that Japanese individuals have weak self-awareness,or even lack self-awareness altogether. In response to this, this paper analyzes Japanese intransitive verb expressions to reveal that Japanese people are more likely to possess characteristics of“latent self”or“passive self”.The analysis demonstrates that“latent self”and“passive self”are common modes of expression in Japanese communication.Deliberately presenting oneself in these forms during interactions actually reflects a positive self-cognition among Japanese individuals, indicating a strong sense of self-awareness.
