摘  要:《西游记》在英语世界的儿童化译介是新世纪的一大独特现象,但学界对该领域关注不够。本文整理并分析了69种学界鲜少提及的“西游故事”儿童读物,探讨其文本形式和文化价值,深入剖析三部代表作品的艺术特色。同时,研究了“西游故事”出版物的类型分布规律、出版机构的市场策略及其商业化特征。研究发现:插图类缩译本和改写本是该小说重构的主要形式;孙悟空形象在融入西方文化元素后焕发出新的生命力;“西游故事”的出版读物商业属性明显;经典儿童类和新兴自助出版机构是推动儿童化出版的重要力量。The adaptation of Journey to the West for children in the English⁃speaking world is a remarkable phenomenon in the new century,yet it has not received adequate academic attention.This paper compiles and analyzes 69 children’s books based on the“Journey to the West”stories,which have been seldom been discussed in academic circles.It explores their textual forms and cultural values while delving into the artistic characteristics of three representative works.The study also investigates the types of“Journey to the West”publications,the market strategies of publishing houses,and their commercial features.The research reveals that illustrated,abridged,and rewritten versions are the primary forms of the novel’s dissemination;the image of Sun Wukong,after integrating Western cultural elements,has taken on new vitality;publications based on Journey to the West exhibit significant commercial attributes;and classical children’s books and emerging self⁃publishing institutions play a key role in promoting the child⁃friendly publishing trend.
