摘　　要：2022年劳特里奇出版社出版的Translation and History:A Textbook(《翻译与历史教程》)是翻译文化学派奠基人之一——西奥·赫曼斯(Theo Hermans)教授在译学与史学领域的研究新著。该书深入讨论了翻译与历史的关系,综合历史学、社会学、文学、叙事学、阐释学、翻译学等学科的研究理论和方法,结合具体案例,考察了翻译研究的历史性特征与史学研究的翻译渊源。本文在介绍该书核心内容的基础上,提出了史学视域下的翻译研究拓展方向,指出了该书的学术价值及缺憾之处。Translation and History:A Textbook published by Routledge in 2022 is a new research in both translation and history fields by Theo Hermans,a leading scholar in the field of translation studies after“the cultural turn”.This book provides an in-depth exploration of the relationship between translation and history,drawing on perspectives and methods from disciplines such as history,sociology,literature,narratology,hermeneutics,and translation studies.Through specific case studies,it examines the historical characteristics of translation studies and translation causes of historical researches.Based on a brief introduction to the content of this book,this article reflects on possible foci for translation studies from a historical perspective while pointing out both its academic value and shortcomings.
