涉华舆论传播链中的“中国通”实践社群——基于纵向网络分析

摘　　要：近年来,美国不断加大对华舆论压力,形成了一条“学者爆料—媒体炒作—政府跟进”的谎言传播链。“中国通”在美西方对华舆论战中无疑扮演了重要的角色,对其开展深入研究是中国应对舆论战的破局关键。研究首先基于前期工作识别了2060个“中国通”X(原Twitter)账号,然后对其2018-2022年的互动推文进行网络分析,最终得到由411个持续参与反华议题用户构成的在线社群。社会网络分析结果显示,“中国通”在X平台上形成了三个反华舆论集群;连续参与者构成了具有等级差异的实践社群;社群为其成员提供了与“精英”互动的机会,并使他们的联系多样化。研究证实了社会选择是实践社群成员角色演化的重要机制,其中驱动社会选择的关键因素是组织地位。此外,还揭示了“中国通”实践社群如何帮助其成员扩大在公共网络中的社会影响力,对我国今后及早阻断舆论攻击具有实践意义。In recent years,the United States has intensified its pressure on China in the realm of public opinion,forming a disinformation dissemination chain with distinctive characteristics:Scholars leak information,media amplifis narratives,and governments endorse actions.Within this US-led Western discourse warfare against China,the community of"China Hands"plays a pivotal role,making their study critical for China to effectively counter such campaigns.This research began by identifying 2,060"China Hands"accounts on X(formerly Twitter).It then conducted a longitudinal network analysis of their interactive posts from 2018 to 2022.The study ultimately revealed an online community of 411 users persistently engaged in anti-China discourse.Social network analysis demonstrates three distinct anti-China opinion clusters formed by China Hands on X.These long-term participants constitute a hierarchical Community of Practice(CoP),which provides members with opportunities to interact with elites and diversify their connections.The study confirms that social selection serves as a key mechanism that drives the evolution within the CoP,with organizational status emerging as the primary driver of such selection.Furthermore,the research elucidates how the China Hands CoP amplifies its members'social influence across public networks.These findings offer practical significance for China to preemptively counter discursive attacks.
