审美意象何以生成——以现象学视域下的“神与物游”为中心

摘  要:“神与物游”是刘勰在《文心雕龙》中提出的重要美学命题,也是审美意象生成的主要方式。“神与物游”的审美体验以“天人合一”为哲学基础,后者所隐含的主体间性思想与西方现象学后期审美主义的主体间性思想具有可通约性,这为从现象学视域观照“神与物游”的命题提供了理论基础。在这一视域下,“神与物游”的审美体验可以被还原为:审美主体通过“悬搁”进入虚静的审美状态,在物我感应交流中经由情感、想象达成主体间的意向性构成,从而使得“现象”作为审美意象呈现。以现象学视域观照这一命题,也是中西美学思想之间的平等交流与对话。在交流与对话中,“神与物游”展现出了不同于西方美学思想的独特品格:古典主体间性与情本体性。这种中西美学之间的差异互补,或可为当下美学的发展带来新的启发。“The interaction between spirit and object”is an important aesthetic proposition put forward by Liu Xie in The Literary Mind and the Carving of Dragons,and it is also the primary way in which the aesthetic image is generated.This aesthetic experience is grounded in the philosophical foundation of“the unity of nature and human”,which implies the intersubjectivity that is commensurable with the the thought of the aestheticism in the later period of Western phenomenology.It provides the philosophical basis for contem⁃plating the proposition of“the interaction between spirit and object”from the phenomenological perspective.From the perspective of phenomenology,“the interaction between spirit and object”can be reduced into:the aesthetic subject attains a state of tranquility by suspending judgment,and through the interactive communication between spirit and object,achieves an intentional constitution via emotion and imagination,ultimately presenting the“phenomenon”appear as the aesthetic image.At the same time,the interpretation of“interaction between spirit and object”from the perspective of phenomenology is not only to illuminate traditional propositions with western theories,but also is the communication between Chinese and western aesthetic thoughts.In the communication,the proposition shows some unique characteristics different from western aesthetic thought:classical intersubjectivity and the nature of emotion ontolo⁃gy.The complementary difference between Chinese and Western aesthetics brings some new inspiration to the development of current aesthetics.
