华人移民网络对我国跨国企业海外子公司创新绩效影响研究

摘　　要：基于2010—2020年中国沪深A股上市公司海外子公司境外专利申请情况,采用OLS估计法对华人移民网络、中国海外子公司创新绩效和文化距离的关系进行实证检验。研究发现:(1)华人移民网络与中国海外子公司创新绩效之间存在非线性“倒U型”关系,通过使用工具变量法克服内生性问题,以及进行稳健性检验后,这一关系仍然成立;(2)在区分股权性质后,华人移民网络与中国海外子公司创新绩效之间的“倒U型”关系对非国有企业来说更加明显;(3)文化距离能够正向调节华人移民网络与中国海外子公司创新绩效之间“倒U型”关系。研究结论对我国企业在“走出去”的同时,发挥华人移民网络的作用,继续成功“走上去”有重要政策启示与现实意义。Based on the overseas patent applications of overseas subsidiaries of China's Shanghai and Shenzhen A-share listed companies from 2010 to 2020,OLS estimation method is used to empirically test the relationship between Chinese immigration network,innovation performance of Chinese overseas subsidiaries and cultural distance.The research finds that:(1)There is a nonlinear“inverted U-shape”relationship between the Chinese immigrant network and the innovation performance of Chinese overseas subsidiaries,and this relationship is still established after the use of instrumental variable method to overcome the endogenous problem and robustness test;(2)After distinguishing the nature of equity ownership,the study finds that the“inverted U-shaped”relationship between the Chinese immigrant network and the innovation performance of Chinese overseas subsidiaries is more obvious for non-state-owned enterprises;(3)Cultural distance can positively regulate the“inverted U-shaped”relationship between the Chinese immigrant network and the innovation performance of Chinese overseas subsidiaries.The conclusion of this study has important policy implications and practical significance for Chinese enterprises to continue to“going up”successfully by playing the role of Chinese immigrant network while“going out”.
