摘　　要：研究通过收集某本科院校参加全国大学英语竞赛(以下简称竞赛)的171名考生问卷,并辅以半结构访谈的形式,调查分析了考生对竞赛的认识与评价,及竞赛对考生的影响。研究结果显示,考生对竞赛有着较为积极的认识与评价,竞赛对考生产生了正面的反拨效应,但也存在一定的负面影响。积极发挥竞赛的正面反拨效应,抑制其负面反拨效应,需要竞赛组织者、院校及教师多方的共同努力。In this study,a questionnaire survey was conducted on 171 students who participated in the National English Competition for College Students,accompanied by semi-structured interview,to explore students'perception and evaluation of this competition and the influence of the competition on them.The results show that students have a positive perception of and attitude toward the competition which has exerted a positive washback effect and a certain negative washback effect on students.Taking advantage of its positive washback and restraining its negative washback ask for the joint efforts of the competition organizers,universities and teachers.
