精英“智”造:家长精英期望与家庭教育投入

摘　　要：本文利用中国教育追踪调查数据,从货币性资源和非货币性资源两个维度考察了当代中国家庭配置教育资源的策略,进而从家长精英期望视角分析家庭教育投入决策的逻辑。研究发现:(1)家庭的校外教育支出高于校内教育支出,并且所投入的时间资源少于情感资源;(2)尽管家庭教育投入决策会受到家庭社会经济地位的影响,但家长精英期望所发挥的作用更大;(3)教育焦虑是家长精英期望激励家庭扩大教育资源投入的机制;(4)家庭教育资源分配存在性别不平等现象,即女孩所获得的家庭教育资源受到精英期望的正向影响小于男孩。本文不仅从精英期望这一主观视角揭示了教育投入不平等的形成机制,而且有助于在中国情境下理解日益呈现内卷状态的教育投入决策的逻辑。Using data from the China Education Panel Survey,this paper examines the strategies of contemporary Chinese families in allocating educational resources in terms of the monetary and the non-monetary.It analyzes the logic of families'decision-making on educational inputs from the perspective of parents'elite expectations.The study finds that(1)families spend more on out-of-school education than in-school education and invest less time resources than emotional resources;(2)although decisions of family education investment are affected by the socioeconomic status of the family,parental elite expectations play a more significant role;(3)educational anxiety is a mechanism by which parental elite expectations motivate families to expand their investment in education resources;(4)there exists gender inequality in family education resource allocation,i.e.,girls'access to household educational resources is less positively influenced by elite expectations than than of the boys.This paper not only reveals the formation mechanism of inequality in educational inputs from the subjective perspective of elite expectations,but also helps to understand the logic of educational input decisions in the Chinese context.
