摘　　要：通常而言,应用民族音乐学(Applied Ethnomusicology)较为宽泛地界定为把民族音乐学的学问、知识和理解运用到实际中去。随着北美和其他地区的发展,应用民族音乐学被视为以音乐为中心对特定社区进行干预,其目的是使该社区以及民众受益。走向互惠的理解是基于来自民族音乐学者田野调查的合作伙伴关系。应用民族音乐学以社会责任、主体性、文化和音乐公平等伦理原则为指导,进而回答如何干预,在哪里,为什么发生,我们对谁负责等问题。现有文献已对应用民族音乐学学科的变迁轨迹及其发展建构进行梳理,但与之相关的文化政策、音乐可持续性、音乐生态系统及音乐教育等社会实用性的学术议题,在国内鲜有涉及。学者们在思辨、讨论、呈现学术知识的同时,仍然有责任将这些鲜活的知识应用于公共领域,进而强化基层实践的能动性归属,以此影响社会互动和文化变革的过程。除了学术和教学,我们也可以参与到音乐社区的干预中来,为公众谋福利。文章在应用民族音乐学的视域下结合中国实践,谈及如何处理世界性与本土性问题,试图使学科建设方略与学科努力方向之间相互制约以达到一种平衡关系。Generally speaking,Applied Ethnomusicology(AEM)is more loosely defined as the application of ethnomusicological learning,knowledge and understanding.As it has developed in North America and elsewhere,Applied Ethnomusicology has come to be seen as a music-centred intervention in a particular community with the aim of benefiting that community.It is music-centred,but more importantly,the intervention is people-centred.Towards a Reciprocal Understanding is based on partnerships from ethnomusicologists'fieldwork.Applied ethnomusicology is guided by the ethical principles of social responsibility,subjectivity,and cultural and musical equity,which in turn answer the questions How to intervene?Where?Why does it happen?Who are we accountable to,etc.Existing literature has already sorted out the trajectory of change in the discipline of applied ethnomusicology and its developmental constructs,but the socially practical academic topics associated with it,such as cultural policy,musical sustainability,musical ecosystems,and music education,are seldom dealt with in China.In the author's view,while scholars discern,discuss,and present academic knowledge,they still have the responsibility to apply this vibrant knowledge to the public sphere,thereby strengthening the dynamic attribution of grassroots practices,and thus influencing the process of social interaction and cultural change.Beyond scholarship and teaching,we can also engage in musical community interventions for the benefit of the public.In the context of applied ethnomusicology and Chinese practice,the article discusses how to deal with the issues of cosmopolitanism and localisation,in an attempt to achieve a balanced relationship between disciplinary strategies and disciplinary endeavours.
