摘　　要：本文以译者行为批评理论为指导,对柳无忌1946年前后两时期翻译活动进行人本与文本研究。在人本层面上,柳无忌的翻译活动基于不同的学术经历,其翻译选材受不同时代背景影响,其翻译思想也有所不同。在文本层面上,柳无忌对文化负载词大多采取音译加注的形式,在形式上比较求真于原诗,前期的诗歌押韵在后期逐渐消失。柳无忌作为早期离散译者,在推动中西文化交流互鉴上作出了极大的贡献,对其进行研究在今天仍然具有启示意义。Liu Wu-chi emigrated from China to the United States of America,turning from a native translator to a discrete translator.His translation behavior changed according to his circumstances.He translated foreign literary works into Chinese and Chinese literature into English,becoming an important messenger between China and Western cultures.Liu Wu-chi's immigration to the United States in 1946 became the dividing line of his translation behavior and his translation activities showed different characteristics.Before 1946,he mainly translated literature from foreign countries into Chinese;after 1946,he mainly translated literature from Chinese into English.Different translation practices reflected different historical and social backgrounds and requirements of the times,showing his different academic qualities and experiences,molded different translation views,yielded varied translation results.Under the guidance of translator behavior criticism,this paper focuses on the translation activities of two periods,making a study of the translator and the text,exploring the coshaping of translation result by the behaviour of social extra-translation and linguistic intra-translation,aiming at finding out the characteristics and rules of Liu Wu-chi's translation behaviour in different periods and analyzing the reasonable degree of part of his translation so as to provide a case for other such translators.
