摘　　要：Vieux Carré委员会在Vieux Carré历史街区的保护中发挥了至关重要的作用。文章首先指出了美国历史街区保护制度完善之前地方保护机构发挥的作用。其次,以Vieux Carré委员会为研究对象,从Vieux Carré委员会延续街区风貌、制定保护更新指导手册和多方合作等方面进行剖析和研究,具体阐述了其保护更新的方法。最后总结Vieux Carré委员会的经验对其他国家和地区历史街区保护的启示。The Vieux CarréCommittee plays a vital role in the protection of the Vieux CarréHistoric District.The paper first points out the role played by local protection agencies before the improvement of the historic district protection system in the United States.Secondly,the Vieux CarréCommittee is taken as the research object,and the Vieux CarréCommittee is analyzed and studied from the aspects of management mode,continuation of the neighborhood style,formulation of protection and renewal guidance manual and multi-party cooperation,and its protection and renewal methods are specifically explained.Finally,the experience of the Vieux CarréCommittee is summarized for the protection of historic districts in other countries and regions.
