摄像头的开启与在场情境的建构——在线教学的技术社会学实践

摘　　要：2020-2022三年六个学期从应急到常态的大规模在线教学,已成为思考教育、教-学的特别案例,可以从技术哲学、技术社会学、教育学等多重维度加以讨论。根据技术的社会建构理论,技术与社会之间并无截然的界线,一项技术的发明、应用和调整都是相关人群共同协商的结果。网络会议软件被用于常规教学,是对这项技术的重新阐释。使用者对上课——教-学活动的不同理解,导致对技术的不同使用方式,尤其表现在摄像头上。如果认为上课不仅是课程内容的教和学(内容中心),也承担着共同体建构等其他功能(场境建构),则摄像头的开启就是必要的。如何利用既有技术,实现线下在场场境,乃至达成超越线下的效果,是技术社会学的教-学实践活动,也是其理论拓展。The large-scale online teaching from emergency to normalcy in the six semesters of the three years 2020-2022 has become a special case for thinking about education and teaching-learning activity,which can be discussed from multiple dimensions,such as philosophy of technology,sociology of technology,and pedagogy.According to the Social Construction of Technology(SCOT),there is no sharp boundary between technology and society,and the discovery,application,and improvement of technology result from mutual consultation among the related social groups.It is a reinterpretation of the technology of web conference software used for formal education classes.Users’different understandings of teaching-learning activities lead to different ways of using the technology,especially on the camera.If it is considered that the classroom is not only the teaching and learning of the course content(content centrism),but also plays other functions such as community construction(virtual presence construction),it is necessary to turn on the camera.How to use the existing technology to realize a situation like offline face-to-face,and even achieve the effect beyond the offline presence,is the teaching-learning practice from the perspective of the sociology of technology,and it is also its theoretical expansion.
