《黄帝内经·素问》中“上下”方位隐喻的英译显化程度分析——以李照国译本为例

摘　　要：中医文化作为中国传统文化的重要组成部分,其国际传播的必要性日益凸显。《黄帝内经·素问》是中医经典著作,但其隐喻翻译面临着诸多挑战。首先运用分类归纳法,结合VBA代码技术,提取《素问》中含“上下”复合词语的句子,经剖析分类,选定46处隐喻句,构建单语语料库。接着采用模型构建法,结合翻译学中的显化理论,从隐喻传达显化(ME)、文化适应性显化(CAE)、逻辑连贯性显化(LCE)三个维度出发,构建隐喻英译显化程度评分模型。最后利用定量分析法,将46处隐喻句与李照国译本精确匹配,构建英汉对齐语料库,结合自建模型对译文显化程度进行量化评估。结果表明,李照国译本在隐喻传达和逻辑连贯性方面表现较好,但文化适应性有待提升。这一研究有助于提高中医典籍翻译质量及文化传播。Traditional Chinese medicine,as an integral part of Chinese cultures,increasingly necessitates international dissemination.The Yellow Emperor's Inner Classic-Simple Questions is a classic work in traditional Chinese medicine,yet its metaphorical translation faces numerous challenges.Firstly,the classification and induction method is employed,combined with VBA code method,to extract sentences containing the compound words “up and down” from Simple Questions.After analysis and categorization,46 metaphorical sentences are selected to construct a monolingual corpus.Subsequently,a model-building approach is adopted,integrating the theory of explicitation in translation studies,to construct a scoring model for the degree of explicitness in the English translation of metaphors from three dimensions:Metaphor Explicitation(ME),Cultural Adaptability Explicitation(CAE),and Logical Coherence Explicitation(LCE).Finally,a quantitative analysis method is utilized to precisely match the 46 metaphorical sentences with Li Zhaoguo's translated version,constructing an English-Chinese aligned corpus,and applying the self-built model to quantitatively assess the degree of explicitness in the translation.The results indicate that Li Zhaoguo's translated version performs well in metaphor conveyance and logical coherence but requires improvement in cultural adaptability.This further contributes to enhancing the quality of translations of traditional Chinese medical classics and the dissemination of Chinese cultural heritages.
