译者行为批评视角下的文体功能再现研究——以《射雕英雄传》(前九回)英译为例

摘　　要：中国武侠小说因其独特的文学体裁,在国外获得了越来越多的关注,受众群体已经由汉学家扩展至社会大众。然而,其对外译介供不应求,呈现出网络译者交互式、自发性的合作或众包译介现象。本研究认为这一现象部分归因于武侠小说内多样的交际文本类型带来的翻译困难,因此本文以金庸武侠小说《射雕英雄传》(前九回)两个英译本为例,基于译者行为批评视角,从语义解释、结构转化和社会背景层面,分析译者如何处理并再现原文不同话语表达功能,探讨这些处理方式对译文质量和读者接受度的影响。研究发现,译者在翻译过程中会根据原文的语境配置和话语文体特点,灵活采用翻译策略和方法,力求在译文中再现原文的文本功能和意义,实现求真和务实的连贯统一。同时,译者行为受到个人和文化背景等社会因素的影响,故而,对于译者的专业素养和跨文化意识的考量显得尤为重要。这将有助于确保中国文学正确和有效的译介,从而更好地在国际舞台上传播中国的声音。Chinese wuxia novels,as a distinctive literary genre,have garnered increasing attention internationally,with their audience expanding from Sinologists to the general public.However,the demand for their dissemination abroad often exceeds the supply,resulting in such phenomena as interactive,spontaneous collaboration,or crowdsourced translations by online translators.This study posits that such phenomena can be partly attributed to the challenges posed by the diverse communicative text types within wuxia novels.Therefore,this paper examines two English translations of Jin Yong's wuxia novel The Legend of the Condor Heroes(first nine chapters)from the perspective of translator behavior criticism.It analyzes how translators handle and reproduce the oniginal's varied discursive functions through semanticinterpretation,structural transformation,and consideration of the social context,and discusses the impact of these approaches on the quality of the translation and its reception by readers.The findings suggest that translators adapt their strategies and methods flexibly in response to the context and stylistic features of the source text,striving to replicate its textual functions and meanings in the translation,thereby achieving a coherent unity of seeking truth and gaining utility.Moreover,translator behavior is influenced by social factors such as individual and cultural backgrounds,highlighting the importance of professional competence and cross-cultural awareness in translators.This is crucial for ensuring the accurate and effective translation of Chinese literature,thereby facilitating the global dissemination of China's voice.
