摘 要:全球化背景下各国文化与艺术融通,中国传统文化与艺术逐渐成为西方时尚设计师拓展设计的灵感源泉,但因认知角度及交融程度不同而呈现出显著差异。文章通过案例研究和文献分析法,解析西方时尚设计师运用中国元素的创意理念及创作实践,将其分为三个渐进层次:1)“表象设计”止于文化挪用、符号堆砌;2)“融合设计”在体验他者文化中解构已有认知,重构设计风格;3)“在地设计”深度融合中西方文化,作品呈现出多重价值。“在地设计”代表了跨文化时尚设计的最高层次。通过研究有助于拓展中国设计师跨文化设计理念,可为跨文化设计实践提供借鉴,同时为中国文化国际传播提供参考。Under the background of globalization,traditional Chinese culture and art have gradually become a source of inspiration for Western fashion designers.However,due to the different perspectives of traditional Chinese cultural elements and the degree of integration,there are significant differences in their works.Exploring the ways in which Western fashion designers utilize Chinese elements in their works and the cultural motivations behind them can provide important reference value for cross-cultural fashion design.At the same time,it can also serve as a reference for the contents and methods of China’s cross-cultural communication to the outside world.This paper analyzes the creative practice cases of Western fashion designers using Chinese elements and the source of creative ideas behind them through case studies and literature analysis.It was found that this process can be divided into three progressive levels.First,Western fashion designers who stay at“surface design”usually have little or no knowledge of Chinese culture.Because of the stereotypes accumulated in Western history,their works float on the surface or are just a meaningless pile of symbols and images.Second,Western fashion designers who have made brief field trips to China are more inclined to create“fusion design”,that is to get in touch with the local culture and communicate with the locals on the ground,and then use them for fashion creation after obtaining first-hand information other than books or media.In the process of experiencing other cultures,these designers deconstruct their existing perceptions,reacquaint themselves with Chinese culture,and reconstruct their personal design styles.Third,a few Western fashion designers have lived in China for a long time,and they have the ability to experience and understand Chinese culture from a local perspective through“locality design”,as well as the ability to skillfully apply intangible cultural heritage or traditional handicrafts in their creations.In addition,their works can even se
