摘　　要：美国《编目和元数据专业馆员核心能力》2023年版在知识能力、技能与才干能力和行为能力三方面都存在较大变化,如更加注重编目和元数据实践,强调人工智能的影响和编目伦理的要求,重视对各种标准和外部数据的分析与选择能力等,但对软能力如人际交流的强调有所减弱。通过对比2023年版和2017年版的异同,探索2023年版修订内容反映出的编目和元数据领域变化的特点与趋势,为我国的图书馆教育和图书馆实践以及发展自己的编目和元数据专业馆员核心能力提供参考。The 2023 edition of Core Competencies of Cataloging and Metadata Professional Librarians in the United States reflects significant changes in three areas:knowledge competencies,skills and abilities,and behavioral competencies.Specifically,for example,more attention to catalogue and metadata practice,more emphasis on the impact of artificial intelligence and the requirements of cataloging ethics,and more focus on the ability to analyze and select from various standards and external data.Meanwhile,the emphasis on soft skills such as interpersonal communication has been weakened.This study explores the characteristics and trends of changes in the field of cataloging and metadata reflected in the revised content by comparing the similarities and differences between the 2023 and 2017 editions,in order to enlighten the library education and practice,as well as the development of the core competences for cataloging and metadata professional librarians in China.
