摘　　要：字体有着风格多样化的需求,而字体设计又是一个耗时耗力的过程。文章分析了模块化和程序化在字体设计中的历史基础和理论依据,根据应用目的分别从简单形状和笔画特征作为模块阐述了程序化方法在字形变化方面的应用,揭示了该方法可以从系统的角度解决字体设计的复杂性问题,在保持字体一致性的基础上创造出多样化的字形变体。该设计方法不仅提高了字体设计的效率,还助力设计师拓宽字形探索空间。Typefaces have diverse stylistic demands,and type design is a time-consuming and labor-intensive process.This article analyzes the historical foundations and theoretical basis of modularization and programmatic methods in type design,and expounds on the application of programmatic methods in glyph variation from the perspectives of simple shapes and stroke characteristics as modules,according to the purpose of application.It reveals that this method can systematically address the complexity of type design,creating a variety of typeface variants while maintaining consistency.This design approach not only improves the eficiency of type design but also helps designers to expand the space for glyph exploration.
