论古越文化隐喻系统跨文化建构:以《国语》为中心

摘　　要：本文以《国语》为中心,探索古越文化隐喻系统跨文化建构规律。三部典籍的译者对源自《国语》的古越文化隐喻系统的跨文化建构实质是再语境化操作,以直译为主要翻译策略,以注释和导言为辅助手段,以实现隐喻文化内涵认知通达为目标。古越文化隐喻系统的独特内涵表现为“华夷一体”的古越文化情景语境、“经世致用”的中华史学话语语境、“天人合一”的中华文化认知语境。直译隐喻策略对越文化对外传播具有积极意义。建议《国语》译本增加英文注释和每章导言,全面建构阐释语境,以使古越文化隐喻的独特内涵得到更充分的传递,实现中华文化传播向整体性与深入性方向发展。This paper explores the cross-cultural construction of the metaphorical system of ancient Yue culture,centered on The Discourses of the States to.The Discourses of the States contains the richest metaphorical system of ancient Yue culture,with prominent characteristics of southern maritime commercial culture,inherited by the classics of both The Glory of Yue and Spring and Autumn Annals of Wu and Yue.The translators of these three ancient Yue classics view the cross-cultural construction of metaphor as a recontextualization operation,mainly using literal translation as their strategy,aiming to achieve cognitive understanding of the cultural connotations of metaphor.The translators literal translation strategy has positive impact in conveying the context of ancient Yue culture,such as the integration of Chinese and Yue,the discourse context of Chinese historiography focusing on practical governance lessons,and the cognitive context of Chinese culture characterized by the unity of heaven and man.It is suggested to construct the interpretive context more comprehensively by adding English annotations in translated text and introductions to each chapter.Thus,the cultural connotations of the ancient Yue metaphor can be more fully transmitted to realize Chinese cultural transmision towards the next level of integration and depth.
