摘　　要：文章首先回顾了波莫纳学院亚洲语言文学系的历史并阐述了其中文项目的现状。在讨论了21世纪以来历年中文项目的注册人数后,详细介绍了该项目在2023年春季新开设的第四学期中文课“中国流行文化”。以此课为例,文章探讨该项目在性别包容性课程设计上的尝试。The article begins by reviewing the history of the Asian Languages and Literatures Department at Pomona College and elaborating on the current state of its Chinese program.After discussing the enrollments of the Chinese program since the 21st century,it elucidates the fourth semester Chinese course“Introduction to Popular Culture in China”that was newly offered by the second author in the spring of 2023.Using this course as an example,the article explains the program’s efforts in designing gender-inclusive curriculum.
